We would like to update everyone on Jacob.  He is really doing very well, his spirits are up and his confidence is getting better every day.  He still has no sight in the left eye, (the one that the pellet hit the optic nerve) however; his right eye appears to be on the healing side.  Jacob can see some bright colors’, moving objects (his brother can’t sneak up to his face anymore) and shadows.  The doctors are waiting for him to do some healing before we begin anymore surgery (possible April). He will still need a lens, more cornea work and a few other things.  We want to thank God first for everything He has given us.  Thank you also to each of you who have visited this website, who have lifted Jacob and our family up in prayer.  Prayer changes things; prayer makes the unbearable, bearable.  Payer has lifted us up when we felt like lying down and giving up.  Without prayer nothing is possible, with prayer nothing is impossible. 

            Everyone whom has sent letters, e-mail, denotations, cards, pictures, motes or whispered Jacob’s name in prayer we want to say a “Huge” Thank You to each of you.  It is very hard to respond to each of you but after things settle down you will hear form us.  Once again thank you!
